In an enthusiastic atmosphere, Acting Regent of Bekasi, Dani Ramdan, appeared as the presenter in the lecture attended by Ulama Cadres of MUI Bekasi Regency. Addressing the crucial issue of religious moderation, Dani Ramdan emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony among religious communities. "There is a high level of enthusiasm among religious communities. But on the other hand, there are aspects of interfaith relations that still have the potential to disturb the situation or harmony," he firmly expressed at the beginning of the lecture.
Considering the diversity of religions, ethnicities, and cultures in Bekasi Regency, Dani Ramdan explained that the industrial area and the influx of people from various regions and foreign countries could influence social dynamics. In facing these challenges, Dani Ramdan invited various groups, especially young ulama and Muslim intellectuals, to collectively manage potential emerging issues.
In his lecture, Dani Ramdan also highlighted the importance of national insight for Ulama Cadres of MUI. According to him, spreading moderate Islamic teachings is an important factor in maintaining harmony in Bekasi Regency. "If regional governments, ulama scholars, figures, intellectuals do not manage all of these, then certainly various potential concerns can occur," Dani Ramdan emphasized.
While the situation in Bekasi Regency is still relatively conducive, the support from the community, including Ulama Cadres of MUI Bekasi Regency, plays a crucial role in preserving the climate of harmony. "The key to building everything lies in a conducive climate, whether it's politics, social aspects, economy, infrastructure, and so on," he concluded with optimism.
With an impressive narrative, Dani Ramdan successfully provided valuable inspiration and insights to the participants of the National Insight Lecture on Ulama Cadre Education, reminding them that collaboration from various parties is the key to building a harmonious and inclusive environment.
