Inauguration of the Anoa Panzer Monument, a symbol of pride and a source of inspiration at PIK 2 Kosambi

PersatuanindoNEWS.com - The Regent of Tangerang, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, stated that the Anoa Tank Monument in PIK 2, Kosambi District, Tangerang Regency, has become a new spot and tourist attraction for the community in the PIK 2 Kosambi area.

"I believe that many people will visit and take photos at the Anoa Tank Monument in PIK 2," said Regent Zaki while attending the inauguration of the Anoa Monument by the Army Chief of Staff, General Dudung Abdurrachman, in PIK 2, Kosambi District, Tangerang Regency on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Regent Zaki hopes that the Anoa Monument can be an inspiration and a source of pride not only for the people of Tangerang Regency but also for Indonesia as a whole.

Meanwhile, Army Chief of Staff, General Dudung Abdurachman, stated that the Anoa is a pride of Indonesia, especially for the Kodam Jaya Forces. According to him, the Anoa was made by our own country's people with a design that has been adapted to the terrain characteristics of Indonesia.

"The Anoa armored vehicle has been used in UN peacekeeping missions worldwide, so it is our collective pride. That's why we built the Anoa Monument here," said Dudung.

General Dudung expressed his gratitude to all parties involved and hoped that the Anoa Monument would not only serve as a symbol of history but also become a source of inspiration for all of us, especially for young fighters.
