Furthermore, the victims also express their gratitude because Subdit III Jatanras of the Directorate of General Crime Investigation East Java Regional Police successfully apprehended the perpetrators who stole their motorcycles.

As Rahmawati Zaskiah, a resident of Tanjungsari Jember, stated, she is grateful and thankful to the members of Subdit III Jatanras Ditreskrimum East Java Regional Police, as her beloved motorcycle was stolen by a group of house burglars.

She stated that she can now breathe a sigh of relief because her motorcycle is back in her possession.

"Thank you to the Police for helping me find my motorcycle for my college needs," she said with a happy face.

Zaskiah explained that her motorcycle was stolen while she was sleeping. She was then awakened by her mother, who asked about the whereabouts of her motorcycle, which was not at home.

"At first, my mother woke me up and asked why my motorcycle was not there. Then I checked the kitchen and found that my motorcycle was not there, and the house door was open. My bicycle was also locked with the handlebar," Zaskiah explained.

Furthermore, the victim also explained that the perpetrators managed to enter her house through a window.

"The front door was locked, but the perpetrators entered through the window," she said after a press conference at the East Java Regional Police Public Relations Building on Tuesday (August 15, 2023).

Meanwhile, AKBP Lintar Mahardhono, the Head of Subdit III Jatanras Ditreskrimum East Java Regional Police, explained that the return of the victims' vehicles incurred no cost at all, meaning it was free of charge.

"We also thank you for reporting to the police, so we could act quickly. We would like to inform all victims that there is no charge at all for retrieving the evidence, it's completely free," he said.

He urged the public to be more vigilant and cautious with their valuable belongings or to provide extra security measures for their vehicles.
