Free Operation at Cilegon Regional Hospital, Babinsa Helps Villagers Suffering from Ovarian Cysts
PersatuanindoNEWS.com - To get free surgery, Babinsa from Koramil 0602-10/Pontang, Kodim 0602/Serang, Seka Andi Putra, helped one of the residents of his foster village who had been suffering from ovarian cyst for over a year, Mrs. Sunayah (38), finally underwent surgery at RSUD Cilegon on Friday, September 15, 2023.

In a written statement, Lieutenant Colonel Arm Fajar Catur Prasetyo, S.E., the Dandim 0602/Serang, stated that on Friday, June 23, 2023, Serka Andi Putra, the Babinsa, received a report from a resident and immediately reported to the Danramil 0602-10/Pontang, Captain Inf Silvianus Elvis, that one of his foster village residents had been suffering from ovarian cyst for over a year, and her condition was very concerning and she needed help.

Lieutenant Colonel Arm Fajar Catur Prasetyo, S.E, M.M., the Commander of Kodim 0602/Serang, upon receiving the report from Danramil 0602-10/Pontang, ordered an immediate evacuation to the hospital and coordination with Muspika and the community health center (Puskesmas) to handle the administrative process.

"In addition to coordinating with the local Muspika, we also strive to ensure that Mrs. Sunayah receives free surgery and better treatment. During the evacuation, we accompanied her to the hospital using the Kodim ambulance," said Lieutenant Colonel Arm Fajar Catur Prasetyo.

Furthermore, they hope that Mrs. Sunayah (38) can recover soon from her illness, and Kodim 0602/Serang is ready to assist in her recovery efforts.

Serka Andi Putra (Babinsa), who accompanied Mrs. Sunayah at the Cilegon Regional General Hospital, stated that she is currently receiving treatment and will soon undergo surgery to remove the enlarged ovarian cyst.

Dr. Indrianto, S.POG, explained that the patient was taken to the operating room at 10:00 AM and the surgery was successfully completed by 2:00 PM. Alhamdulillah, Mrs. Sunayah was then transferred from the operating room to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for post-operative care, he added.

On Monday, Sunayah's family expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by Dandim 0602 Serang.

"My sister is actually registered as a BPJS participant, but we faced difficulties with the hospital costs and administrative procedures. Fortunately, the Babinsa helped with the referral to the hospital. I would like to express my gratitude to Dandim, Danramil, Babinsa, and everyone who helped me," said Senen.
