Supervision is often understood as a developmental activity aimed at improvement, which will enhance the quality of ongoing activities/programs. Consistent with this understanding, the public relations supervision carried out by the Biro Humpro BNN RI is expected to serve as a platform for development and evaluation of the public relations activities conducted by the BNNP and BNNK/City.
The arrival of the Head of the Biro Humpro BNN RI to the Land of Lancang Kuning was warmly welcomed by the Head of BNNP Riau, Robinson D.P. Siregar, S.H., S.I.K., M.H. In his welcoming speech, the Head of BNNP Riau extended a warm welcome to the Head of the Biro Humpro BNN RI at the BNNP Riau office. The Head of BNNP Riau also expressed hope that the visit of the Head of Biro Humpro BNN RI to Riau would provide additional insights into social media for the public relations officers at BNNP Riau.
The supervision activity held at the BNNP Riau office was attended by the Head of BNNP Riau, BNNP Riau personnel, and their staff. In his speech, the Head of the Biro Humpro BNN RI stated that public relations function as communicators who actively engage with the public. Whatever the institution does, public relations must convey it effectively and clearly to the public. As a public relations officer of an institution, one must be resilient and continuously innovate.
In this era of public information transparency, public relations activities must be carried out vigorously and to the fullest extent. Being a public relations practitioner is not easy, given the conditions in their respective regions.
Through this supervision activity, it is expected that the public relations of BNNP and BNNK/City will become more cohesive and develop, thus being able to uphold a good image/reputation for the National Narcotics Agency in realizing the vision of a Drug-Free Indonesia (Bersinar).
